Let's talk about snow. It's good for skiing, snow-shoeing, watching fall while snuggled up by the fire, making snow men, snowball fights, and of course snow days. Snow however is not good for driving or walking to class. I like snow and all but I'm kind of getting tired of it. I have a feeling we are just at the beginning of the wintry season.
On my walk to class last night I realized how much humans are creatures of habit. Before me laid wide open spaces of white I could forge any path I wanted but I chose the path I always take. This path is not only familiar but chosen with care to create the fastest route possible. As I continued on my path I noticed everyone else continued to take their same paths too whether they had been cleared or not.
May I also mention that I enjoyed my snowy walk to class. Campus really is amazing all snow covered, I love how quiet snow makes everything. I only wish I had had time to have a fun snow ball fight. Or make snow peni :)
