My birthday is.....
...TODAY!!!
It's the big 22. I feel old in a young way. Does that make sense? Like I'm almost to my middle twenties thats when big things in life happen. Like starting a career, getting married, really becoming an adult. Ive been thinking alot about the person I have become. Its not what I imagined as a child...its better!! Nothing really big is planned for this birthday. But thats ok. its my day to be happy happy happy. Happier than usual, yep its possible. My grandpa called me today and sang me happy birthday. And he called me a hottie. hehe. Actually everyone who has sang me happy birthday today has done something creative to the lyrics. Apparantly the traditional version is overrated hehe.
PS. Liz, the reason for my lack of birthday count down was due to the fact that my computer has died. So I've been a computer hobo for 2 weeks now. But it should be fixed on tuesday!!!! But don't worry in true Cory fashion I've been counting down vocally :)
Incase you haven't noticed, winter has arrived. Wednesday it snowed like whoa. And we had band practice. It was soooo much fun!! I have never marched in snow like that! It was so cold my sax had ice build up on the key holes. So much ice I couldnt play. Most of the saxes had this problem and we sounded like crap hehe it was funny. And Madden was up in the tower yelling down. "It's gonna be like this on saturday, get used to it! PLay with your best tone, play all the notes!" Haha Right MAdden, I can't play ANY of the notes. It was one of the practices I will remember after I have left here. Today is the last practice for the season. This year will be hard because I'm pretty close with alot of the seniors leaving. It will be very weird next year with them gone. Madden got all nostalgic at practice yesturday. And he reminded us to enjoy every little moment in the shadows of MSU. I think thats a big difference between my outlook here and my outlook in highschool. I realize how short this time of life is and I want to enjoy every minute of it.

This weekend looks to be super fun. Saturday is the football game against penn state. I think we could win if the team thinks we can. I'm not so sure how excited I am about the idea of the motor city bowl though.
Sunday is tenor thanksgiving. I hope it goes well. It's my first college party thrown by me! eek!
