20 Centimeters @The Dryden This Saturday

Anyone who's not busy this Saturday (August 12th) at 8pm should make a trip up to the Dryden Theater. ImageOut is having a special screening of 20 Centimeters. I had the opportunity to catch a screener copy of the movie a couple months back, and it's great. The film is about a narcoleptic, transsexual woman working as a prostitute in Madrid. Whenever she has a narcoleptic episode, the film becomes a musical- complete with lavish production numbers featuring songs by everyone from David Bowie to Madonna to Ani DiFranco. It's really a lot of fun. Tickets are $6 at the door and a portion of the money goes to ImageOut to keep the festival running. Please come out, show your support, and see an awesome movie you probably won't have the chance to see anywhere else. You can read the press release I wrote up for the film HERE.
