Prison Break Rocks

In other news, I'm currently reviewing the first season of Prison Break for DVDFanatic and it's AWESOME. I'd been wanting to see the show 'cause I kept hearing how good it is, and it hasn't disappointed. I'm a little more than halfway through the season and I LOVE it.

Admittedly, the plot is ridiculous; Lincoln is wrongly convicted of the murder of the Vice President's brother and is currently living on Death Row awaiting execution. Michael, Lincoln's younger brother, intentionally gets himself thrown into the same penitentiary as his sibling. Armed with a blueprint of the prison tattooed on his body, and a genius-level intellect, Michael begins setting in motion an amazingly complex plan to break his brother out before the execution, which is one month away. Meanwhile, on the outside, the Lincoln's girlfriend/lawyer begins unraveling the vast government conspiracy that lead to Lincoln's incarceration.

But seriously, this show is insanely addicting. And it's SO well done; I spend the entire time screaming at the TV. It's fun watching how Michael's plan gradually comes together and how he handles all the obstacles he faces in making it happen. Plus, with two secret service men in charge of keeping the conspiracy a secret, the show has the highest body count I've seen on a TV show in a long time. Ohh man it's intense. I love it! I'm curious to see how the show develops and what they do with the next season, since I assume they'll have broken out by the end of this one. What's gonna happen after that?! I can't wait! :D
