Aromatherapy News
Things have been really busy here recently. The orders are taking off so I now have to keep an eye on stock levels just to make sure whatever is ordered is on the shelves.
I am enjoying working from home after coming from a busy office (over 400 ) environment. My coffee breaks are now spent sitting at the kitchen table watching the birds in the garden. So far ( apart from the usual Sparrows and Starlings), I have Robins and Chaffinches who are eating me out of house & home as well as a couple of Wood Pigeons and Collared Doves. Its very relaxing to sit and watch them after staring at a PC screen.
I have made up some recipes for shampoos and tried out the Lemon & Ylang Ylang which is really good. My husband is a great guinea pig too and it really brought out the red in his hair. I'm just waiting to hear back from a customer who bought it last week too. I try to test out everything I make up so if you want to know what a product is like to use just give me a ring, I try to be by the phone most of the time.
Sitting, looking out into the garden has made me think that Spring has truly sprung and that some of us may need a boost to get us into that sunny, positive mood so Blend of the Month (
http://www.aromatherapymakesscents.co.uk/blendofthemonth.htm ) is an uplifting one to help us step lightly into Spring. Spring is a time of new beginnings and positive things as we leave the dark days of winter and look forward to the long bright ( well hopefully) summer days. A time when many of us take on new beginnings and ventures.
I went to the Rock & Gem Show at Cheltenham Racecourse a few weeks ago and that made me think - why not incorporate my other love of Crystals with the Aromatherapy. I stocked up on some beautiful crystal bracelets and am busy getting information together on the different types so that I can put a section on here for people to look at. Have a look at the product pages on the online shop - each bracelet comes in a little organza pouch ( which can be bought separately as gift items). I will be adding other things soon. ( Exciting isn't it!!)
I am also keeping up with my Aromatherapy Continuing Development by doing courses. Last week was the second part of Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage at the Isbourne Foundation in Cheltenham. It was a really good course. It was also good to get out of the house and meet up with friends and have a gossip and a bit of fun too. I took along a selection of oils etc from the shop for the ladies to look at and sold a few things.
I was looking at all the things that they do there and have decided that I need to start a Yoga class as I don't get so much exercise now I work from home!
Love & Light
