Wow, sounds like you've had an adventure! And tornadoes in Kansas - cool! Not fun, I'm sure, but definitely an iconic experience. ;)

Your Kansas experience makes me think of Supernatural, with the haunted cemetery and all!

So, what was the purpose of your trip? And why only a few weeks in Atlanta?

Heh, Supernatural was pretty much my sole reason for taking a side trip to Lawrence, KS. I really just wanted a postcard or something small with the name on it, but the crazy storms made it difficult, and things were closed, and so I just gave up and fled the state in terror.

I'm making the return trip from Seattle. I went there for a 3-month work assignment back in January. Once I get back to Atlanta, I have a few weeks to pack and arrange my move to Providence for my next work assignment. This one will be a permanent move, though.
