An unfortunate (or fortunate) pairing of subjects :)

Subject one:
I'll be participating in the Los Angeles AIDS Walk on October 15th.
For those of you in the LA area - there's still time to sign up.
If you anticipate being there, I'll be one of the hundreds wearing a bright blue, Hilton Hotels team shirt (I do layout for a variety of layout and design for the company)

You can also go to my personalized page and make a donation.

It's an important cause and a real fun day of activities.
(It's worth it just to see Bruce Vilanch do 10 minutes of insulting improv on whoever flubs their mundane, AIDS foundation script during the opening ceremony.)

Subject two:
Last night, after two weeks of drawing nothing at all - I'd had it! I grabbed a few scattered pieces of paper and searched for a magazine to draw from. I looked high and low and found only one, a manly magazine! Men's Fitness!
"Perfect!" I squeeled! "It's bound to be filled with coy, women in their scanties!"
But page after page I was horrified by by the prospect! Nothing but dudes as far as the eye could see!
And most of them were in THEIR scanties!

With a quivering lip I sat down with my high quality Pilot Rollerball and drew as best I could.

Line after line I recorded for posterity these sexy beasts!

Then. . .rapture! A dame!
But she looked like a dude, too! EGAD!

Toward the end, I did manage to find this young lass:

P.S. to the Los Angeles gang - This morning I took a turn for the worse. My voice is fading and my manly visage is all droopy with fatigue. There's a good chance I will not make it out to Priscilla's tomorrow night - but I will definitely make an effort to be at Shane's getogether on Saturday. (Sorry, Kristen!)
