Sasami laid back in the bed she was given in the orphanage, lost in her thoughts. There was a great power in this world - the Zeo Crystal - and gaining it would help bring peace to this world

More people meant more kids. More teleports, more everything. Corinth was getting crowded with people of all types, randoms, some that weren't fit for fighting and others who were.
Nanoha played with the Engine Cell between her fingers as she walked through the Orphanage, wishing it was Raising Heart. Doctor K was taking an awful long time with her, but she knew that the technology wasn't something they were familiar with.
Brushing back her hair, she undid it from her usual pigtails and let it flow to just above her neck. There. Now she sort of looked like her adult form. It was kind of strange, becoming an adult when she morphed.
Morphed. That was another term that was alien to her, certainly not in the Japanese language. Henshin would be the closest and Nanoha was wondering about that.
The glimpse of Sasami made her pause. Another girl with blue hair? Wow, was it common out in the other worlds?
"Hi!" called out Nanoha, flipping her Engine Cell in the air as she caught it easily. "You're one of the new girls, right? I'm Nanoha
Sasami turned her head to see the other girl approaching. A smile formed on her face as she realized that she wasn't the only one here. She caught sight of the Engine Cell, but decided not to ask at the moment.
"Uh-huh! My name's Sasami! It's nice to meet you, Nanoha!" Sasami said.
"It's good to meet you Sasami," giggled Nanoha as she reached up and patted Pikachu's head. "Yeah, the kids are kind of small but we're all here together."
A smile formed on Sasami's face as she nodded. "That's good. It's... weird, though, being here." Her attention drifted back on the Heart in her hands. "...and it's scary, too..."
"Yeah it's scary." said Nanoha, thinking of how much violence she had seen. Was she getting used to it, knowing that the Grinders were simply machines or...?
"I'm worried too about Raising Heart. She should be fixed by now. I'm hoping she's been fixed. Or that Doctor K can actually do it."
"She's my Device, and without her, I can't do magic as easily as before." replied Nanoha, taking a seat next to Sasami and Ash.
She held up a hand and a small pink ball of light appeared before winking out. "Without Raising Heart I'm only limited to small things. But instead I'm using the RPM Morpher." And she indicated the morpher that sat in the pouch at her waist.
She could do magic. That was amazing... but it wasn't like she could. And it also seemed that she was stuck using a device that came from this world. She held out her hands, the Heart of Jurai hovering just between them.
"This is the Heart of Jurai. I... I don't know much about it, though. Just that I can use different magic a-and I can transform." Sasami said. "It's... quite amazing, really!"
"Man, all I've really got are my Pokemon." Ash sighed.
"Pika." Pikachu squeaked indignantly.
"...Not that you and the others aren't great and all Pikachu, just I kinda feel like I need to do more." he explained, and the electric mouse nodded understandingly.
"Mmn... it is! It's also exhilarating! I mean, I... I can create a gust of wind easily, o-or shift the ground below us, or create geysers of water or fire fireballs, a-and the energy, it's just...!"
She couldn't explain it clearly - there was probably no way too do so!
"Besides... even if I haven't had it for awhile, even if I don't know if it knows it or not, I feel... safe with it. It's warm..."
When she heard Ash's complaints, though, she turned and reassured him. "It's alright. We all have what we have. It's what we do with them that matters!"
"Yeah. If I wasn't so used to combat from before, I wouldn't have been suited to use this. As it stands, I'm still waiting to see if Raising Heart is repairable." added Nanoha honestly. "And I think your Pokemon are just as great."

That just piqued Sasami's curiosity quite a bit. Was this girl like her?
