Ninth Activation
This wasn't Kouji's day. That's for sure.
One minute he was busy cleaning up the damage done by the Mycene Empire's invasion of Earth, the next he's in a strange room, surrounded by robots.
Oh, and there's a ten-year-old girl with blue hair stuck with him.
"They're not friends of yours, are they?" Kouji asked, a bit worried.
"N-No... I've never seen them before!" the girl said.
"Figured..." Kouji said. "Listen, um..."
"Sasami..."
"Sasami, don't worry. I'm not going to let these guys get you!" Kouji said. As one of the Grinders approached the duo, Kouji went for his Photon Gun and fired. Small sparks flew as the energy cleaved through, melting everything around the hole in its head. "That's one down..." Before he could speak again, two Grinders grabbed his arms. "H-Hey!"
"...LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Sasami shouted. A split second later, pillars of Earth erupted, cleaving the machines.
"W-Woah... th-that was unexpected..." Kouji said, shocked. "I hope you have more tricks..."
