The dark factory of Venjix belched smoke and soot, billowing clouds of radioactive waste boiling out and concealing the dark horrors within layers of smoke

"Alright, this is the big one," said Flynn as he tapped his cane on the ground. He had assembled as many people as possible and he stood in front of a pair of screens displaying the customary V on them plus a large briefcase stood there. "Venjix has been startlingly quiet lately and I think we know why. He's building something big, and lately had been raiding our facilities. This is the fourth attack since then, and things have gotten pretty bad. And now we've got reports and a shield breach near the power plant. It's time that we unveiled everything we've been working on."
Flynn moved around the table and opened the case, revealing several cellphone-like devices and multiple silver and colored flat discs. "These are your Engine Cell Morphers. For those who don't have Ranger powers, you often find it difficult to fight without powers of any sort. While the originals ran on your Biofields, we've tied them into something else that'll give you the power to last long in a battle. Doctor V? K? Do you mind explaining the details of each
This was it. The first Ranger morphers built since the fall of the RPM Series Operators. V couldn't help but feel nervous as she opened up her comm channel.
"When our Rangers faced down Venjix, they had to do it without their morphers," she explained. "He'd managed to access the Biofield that gave them their powers. Still, he was able to delete them all, except for Flynn and Dillon, of course."
A readout appeared, along with an image of another dimension:
Dr. K walked out into view, wearing a pair of sunglasses and carrying a suitcase underneath her arm. She opened it, and set up three hologram generators displaying the new ranger suits and some technical specifications.
"These are the new Ranger series battlesuits. First, as you may have guessed, is ranger series Red. It is specialized for melee combat, enhances the wearer's speed, and provides blades for precision attacks. Its burst attack increases the power output of an individual's strikes."
She continued. "Ranger series Blue enhances physical strength, while also favoring the strategically minded. It possesses both short and long range weaponry, in addition to a time slowing power that can briefly allow for increased speed - however, abuse of it can leave the user frozen.
"And finally... Ranger Series Yellow, which favors long distance attacks, such as snipers and ambush fighters. Its burst attack allows you to increase your physical power in the event you are forced to fight up close, but it also executes slowly and at a
Flynn tapped the computer console. "Yes? Alright. We're deploying as many as possible. Flynn out."
He turned off the console. "The grinders are here, plus a couple of attack bots. This is it people, grab a morpher that suits you and get into the transport trucks. This is the big one."
The sound was like a thousand footsoliders tromping over land, the clanking of metal upon metal.
The floodlights of the facility were on at full blast that evening as a thick throng of shadows revealed themselves to be Grinders. Johnston swallowed as he radioed in. "They're here. And they're in force."
"Looks like they've taken out the patrols on the way here," said Norris.
At the lead was a white-metal attack bot who smirked. "Looks like we've gotten their attention."
"As we should have brother," said the second as he prepared his weapon. "Grinders, march forward! We will crush the resistance and take what we want!"
The machines let out a series of synthesized war cries as they roared in unison.
Ryuunosuke followed behind Takeru, stopping to the left of his lord.
"We won't let you pass!" he shouted dramatically. This was typical for those who knew him, but might look strange to the others.
He took out his own Shudophone.
"Ippitsu sojo!"
He wrote out the kanji for "water." This caused him to transform into Shinken Blue. He took out the shinkenmaru and sliced the air. He took almost a kabuki-like stance as he held his left hand over his face as the right slowly pushed the weapon out, grip tight.
"Very impressive," snorted the first white bot as he squared off with his Rangers. "I am the Paladin Bot Alpha. Prepare to die." And with that, he fired green energy beams from his eyes as the Grinders surged forward.

Ryuunosuke ran into the fray of the battle field, holding his shinkenmaru out and taking slashes when he felt they were needed. Taking out his Ryuu disk, he placed it onto his shinkenmaru's hilt. Water surrounded him.
"Suiryu no Mai!" he called, slashing the air as water-based energy soared toward the Grinders - which looked strangely enough like the Uguts that he fought against with the Go-Ongers. He watched as several went down, fighting with normal slashes against several more Griders.
"Paladin Bot Beta, good to meet you." said the second with an amused tone. "I'm gonna fuck you all up." And he slammed his weapon to the ground, creating a fountain of exploding energy which raced towards the Rangers.

To a person like Spidey, whose senses bordered on the precognitive? A move like that could be seen a mile away. He leapt over the blast wave, aiming to strike the attack bot once landing.
"Man, do you kiss your motherboard with that non-existent mouth?"

Kotoha jumped out of the way of the robot's attack, pulling out her Saru disc and placing it on the hilt of her Shinkenmaru. "Shinkenmaru!" she shouted, spinning the disc, yellow energy swirling around around the blade of the sword, small rocks floating up around it. And then she slashed down at the air in front of her. "Tsuchikemuri no Mai!" she shouted as the yellow energy leaped off of the sword, swirling into a massive dust cloud that sped towards the attack bot.

"Zip Charger!" exclaimed Nanoha, also leaping away from the attack and thrusting the small vehicle forward. It soared in a flash of light towards the attack bot, slamming through Grinders as it passed by.

Back at the base, Flynn hobbled to one of the computer screens. "Something up?"
"There's a blip on the telemetry sir," said the tech. "The Rangers have engaged the attack bots but there seems to be a third blip."
"Someone we missed... and the Rangers aren't there."
"I will go." said the form in the corner. "Alert two or three of your men."
Flynn nodded. "Good luck."
Turning back to the computer screen, he keyed in two frequencies. "Red Robin, Ziggy, I need you two to head to the West Gate. We've got readings of a third one."

"Here we are," said the attack bot who had come in from the other side, having taken out the patrols quickly and effectively. "Grinders, prepare the energy cubes. While our enemies fight, we will take the energy."
The Grinders nodded as they carried clear cubes, two or three a piece as they trundled forward. The remains of the guard on the East end were already cooling, the smell of death in the air.
"Good, with this much energy, we'll be able to power our lords devices," grinned the Pick Bot.

"Too bad you won't get a chance to drain any of it!" came a retort in the shadows as about three Grinders stumbled and fell over...with round-shaped discs in their chests. Seconds later, Red Robin revealed himself with a light frown on his face and a staff in hand.
"You guys didn't really think we wouldn't be prepared for an attack at this gate, right?"

"That's far enough monsters."
He took out his shodo phone.
"Ippittsu sojo!"
He wrote out the kanji for "fire" transforming into shinkenred. He slid out his shinkenmaru slinging it over his shoulder.
"Shinkenred Shiba Takeru."

Well, he was. He didn't know about the other guy, but given the costume it seemed he had at least some experience.
