Not much news really, just work, work, work.
Parentals are on holiday so free house is nice, if a little empty. My brother gets angry every time I leave a dish unwashed, so i am usually washing up like a crazy freak just so that I don't get in an argument with him. Of course, it's fine for him to leave the toilet seat up and wet towels all over the floor... men and their double standards, huh?
Obsession with Brazil continues, I almost bought a guidebook the other day even tho I'm not planning on going anytime soon! I got tickets for a Brazilian concert on July 28th, it's near enough to my birthday so it's going to be a treat! Seu Jorge is playing. For those of you who saw Life Aquatic, he is ithe one who sings all the David Bowie songs in portuguese. he also plays Knockout Ned in "City of God". I love his music so I'm really excited about that.
My friend Ana from barcelona is coming tomorrow for 5 days. I'm really excited, she is a very positive up-for-anything kind of person and we can always use a bit of that!
Supee's wedding is fast approaching. I'm going sari shopping this weekend, hopefully I can get something really nice made up. I was going to wear just a regular dress but a hindu wedding is a once in a lifetime chance to wear a sari for me so I've got to take it!
Just listening to the Killers new song from nme.com, it's funny to hear new stuff of theirs but I'm sure it's great. Right now I'm still obsessed with the Strokes, the Kooks and the Razorlights:)
