I've been working for nearly a month now, so far I've come close to quitting a few times, but I guess the fact I'm still there says something?
What bothers me the most is how they talk about how important people are to them, then they go and show that they really don't care. Case in point, they have computer tests that everyone has to do, it's like basic skills and situations you'll need and come up against. The ones about HAZMAT only need 70% to finish, the alcohol sales test are 80%, bomb threats 80%, but the ones on how to help a customer needs 100% to finish. And if you can't get the answers right, they'll give you the cheat sheet. Maybe I'm missing something and customers are more important then EVERYONE's safety. Also as a general warning, never, ever get a job that has anything to do with clothes two weeks before back to school sales, believe me, it's not pretty.

I got my first paycheck two weeks ago, not as much as I had hoped for, but not too bad. My dad already expects me to pay for everything, but I figured that would happen. I plan on getting a phone this week, my first one (other then the one I borrow from my dad). I should also get the tickets for TRF, Jacquie bought her plane ticket yesterday, so I don't have to worry about her not showing up. I can't wait to see Evie, she'll be born next week, the day before my birthday.

I also need to start working on garb, Evie's outfit is done, as is Julie's (mostly) I just need to work on Jacquie's and mine. I have an idea as to how I want Jacquie's to look, and everything shouldn't be too hard, I just have to find all the material. Mine on the other hand is more difficult because I have no clue what I want. I've already got my boots, I just need to get some grommets, I have an idea for the pants, I know what bodice I want but I don't know in what material, and I have no clue for the shirt or coat or hat. Plus theres all the accessories, like swords, guns, keys, whips, chains, belaying pins, axes, and various other things that also need a decision.
