Arthur's disappearance was worrisome, but, of course, the prince would have to gather his thoughts and get his anger and hurt under control. Merlin's confession and anxiety were beautifully written. It's quite a laundry list of magic Arthur's been privy to without even realizing it. The morning after was wonderful, working on strategy as the team the dragon had foreseen.

I thought they had turned a corner, trusted one another completely. Arthur's unfortunate misstep made terrible sense, especially as he'd been enchanted to throw himself at two separate women in the past two years. Who wouldn't wonder if the powerful sorcerer you've fallen in love with had helped things along? Merlin's reaction, too, was understandable.

The hurt and anxiety were hard to read, but at least Arthur was able to confess and get to the kissing without too much more terrible misunderstanding.

Unfortunately, it seems the celibacy really is making Merlin more focused and powerful. Damn Arthur's brilliant strategizing *shakes fist at the well trained Prince*

This fic is making me very, very happy.
