So earlier I wrote a hefty entry about Not So Silent Night, but my computer has regressed, and is now retarded. Anyway, this will be short and sweet.
-Taking Back Sunday was obnoixiously bad, and their fans are just obnoixious. Thanks for the bruises, assholes.
-Muse rocked the crowd over. Literally. During their first song, "Hysteria" I found myself 90 degrees on the ground under the weight of a swaying (and collapsing) crowd. Thanks to some noble hands, I was helped upright. After kinda fearing for my life, I manuaevered about ten feet back, and was able to enjoy Muse's friggin' AMAZING set. "Stockholm Syndrome"! That was INSANE. Certified Lifelong Fan now.
-Interpol were way pretentious, but were awesome despite. Quite solid, and plus, their guitarist is way hot.
-The Killers were solid too. They were way more into it and rockin' than the last time I saw them.
-I HEART FRANZ FERDINAND. Alex, the lead singer, was a classic showman. They actually talked to the crowd, and had everyone bouncing and dancing along. I definitely had the most fun watching Franz. There's no question about seeing them again. I'll be there front and center. And plus, their guitarist Nick was rockin' the cowboy shirt.
-Modest Mouse, sad to say it, should not have headlined. Blame MM's craptastic sound tech guy, and the fact that none of the band members looked like they had any keen interest in being there. "Trailer Trash" was a highlight, and "Float On" was a given, but Muse and Franz showed them up in every way.
Anyway, that wasn't too short and sweet, but is anything? Now I have to go rest my sore back, limbs, and my feet, all of which are still recuperating from being ran into, elbowed in, and trampled upon.
Oh yeah, I have FINALS to worry about too. Ugh.
