misty musty lovely morning
I woke up an hour ago because my Daddy wanted me to get all the ants out of the kitchen before he left for work. It's cold, the ants come inside. There's not really much we can do except remodel the kitchen so that the cabinets aren't on outside walls....and we don't even have the money to fix the breaks on his car, so like I said, not much we can do.
It's gray and foggy over the vineyards. I think I'll go for a walk through the lovely mistyness.
Last night, I was cruising the world wide webberness and the power flickered - clocks stayed on but not my computer. So I made some almond tea, supplied myself with half an avocado, apple cinnammon rice cakes, a healthy little stack of reading, and snuggled up in my pj pants and a sweater on the couch. Got my blanket, my pillow, and a space heater. I fell asleep there and it was nice to wake up in a green misty room.
Rain storms are cozy. I heard the warning sirens from a fire station though - I hope to god the homeless people are okay. I live in a small town, everybody knows them - I hope they found a place.
