One Day Without Shoes
Today is TOMS One Day Without Shoes. The goal is for people to raise awareness about just how many kids grow up without shoes on their feet. Most children catch a lot of diseases from going barefoot all the time and in some countries it is even an honor to own a pair of shoes. For every pair of TOMS that are bought one pair is given to a child in need.
I have been completely barefoot all day! I went on a three mile walk with my buddy Jeff and also went to Publix. No one said anything but I was ready to defend my position if they did. Tonight I'm going to a bonfire at my friends house and I think most of the people there will be barefoot as well.
BTW, Jeff rocks my socks.
