Alexander The Great(or as Woody would say Alexander the Gay)
So my boy seth is back in town. He called me today to hangout(I jumped on that wagon since no one else calls to hangout with me(wham-ba-lance)). It was pretty cool seeing the lil brat(or I guess I should say big adult now). We went to broadways to grab something to eat and then we went to see "Alex the Great".
Thi smovie was suggested to me by my good friend SteveO. Seth said it was going to suck. I figured it couldnt be that bad...I mean hey it has some good actors in it. Verdict:Seth hated it with a passion and I thought it was pretty good. It was definitely a lil drawn out though.
I think what got most peeps was the fact that it had a lot of homosexual and bisexual induendos in it. But hey it was based on the story of Alexander the Great....if you know anything about his history you would know that he was bisexual(gay)...so wwere a lot of those rulers in that time(they had power over all and lusted over anything that they ruled(man or woman).
I must say though there was actually one character that even disturbed me or weirded me out at least. I know, hard to imagine something bothering mister liberal.
So if you are gay you gay...thats fine...if you are straight you are straight...even if you are in between thats fine with me...love whomever you want..its your perogative...however there was this character...that was a guy but he acted or portrayed the persona of a woman. It was weird! I mena if thats who u are thats fine...it just weirded me out though...being weirded out by male flamboyancy is my subtle ignorance.
It was funny though Seth was so ready to leave 20 min into the movie.I'm glad he stayed though. He endured his pain gracefully.LOL!
Alex: Was he running away from the bitterness of his paranoid mother
Did he simple want to unite the world under one rule..placing everyone equal to each other.
Was he just trying to out do his father
Did he continue to conquer hoping it would eventually make him feel complete or at ease.

Lets say we took the movie uh...braveheart or troy and made Mel and Brad have a ....would it totally ruin the movie for ya!
