long time...
I realize it's been quite some time since I updated. The way I see it, it's not like anyone actually reads my meanderings, so... :-P
I have to tell you about this past Saturday night. Jen and I had such a great night! We got a babysitter (thanks Alison) and actually had a date! Sweet. After a really good meal at Applebee's (who knew?), we went to the VBC for the Classical Mystery Tour. Check out their website at http://www.classicalmysterytour.com. It was incredible. These guys are a Beatles tribute band that comes into town and plays with the local symphony orchestra. The costume changes were cool and they really looked somewhat like the Beatles...from a distance, anyway. The amazing part was that they sounded almost exactly like the Fab 4. We had a blast. The funniest past was the older couple that really got into the encore. 60+ year-olds make me nervous doing the herky-jerky twist that this guy was doing. I seriously thought he was about to break his hip. Anyhow.
