I got up early, took a shower, had breakfast with my brother, came to work. Except they had no work. So now I'm sitting in the library on campus, wondering what the hell I'm going to do since apparently making some money so I can live is not an option.
Also, Dave, I saw your family like fifteen minutes ago.
Weird day.
EDIT: So I get a call from Jeremy, who I work with, at like 3:30, telling me that the people at work are annoyed with me, specifically the one woman who is usually so nice to me. She is upset because I didn't ask around enough for work in my office, and that I left soon after I got there. So I called her and made an attempt at clearing things up, but I'll have to do whatever the hell they want me to do there for the next couple of weeks. Though I've worked at this office for almost a year, I'm still learning the way certain stuff works. So now I know that no matter what, I should just keep bugging people for work, and not until I've harassed every motherfucker in the office should I go home. It's a decent job, and I don't want to lose it, and I'm fucking pissed because this is yet another one of those ridiculous office space subtleties, where people know it should work that way but nobody tells you and nobody talks about it. I mean, had Jeremy not given me a heads up, nobody would have even told me, and the next time I slipped in some way they would fire me. What a fucking pain in the ass.
