Bay City.

I needed a bit of quiet time away from everyone. We're in Bay City promoting for our show here later this week, and it's a cozy little place. It's also kind of sweet. The dude, Pete, who runs it is a really good guy who seems to be doing what he's doing for the right reasons.

Last night we stayed at a beach house in Caseville, MI (where they have the National Cheeseburger Festival annually) and it was sort of beautiful. I could've thrown a rock at Lake Huron from it. I wouldn't have hit the lake it's self, but there's a chance it would've hit the shore.

Played last night in Mt. Pleasant, too. At Justice Records, which is owned by one of the dudes in Under Anchor, I guess. That's cool. I borrowed a dollar from Ev to buy Aja by Steely Dan on vinyl. Pretty happy about that, since I may very well be the last person to own this. Fantastic album. . . can't wait to give it a listen on vinyl.

It's finals week, and I have more papers to write than I have fingers on my hands. I was intimidated by this, but I moved past the point of being stressed by that and tour into the point of just doing it all at a leisurely pace. The papers, anyways. The tour thing I'm working pretty hard at. There are only so many venues through my resources, which worries me. I wish I could just get some stuff confirmed. I also wish we were doing more house shows. We'll only have one or two on this tour, it looks like. It sucks that so many people with similar ethics and ideals aren't able to work with Audrey due to the style. It's understandable, though. I just get really tired of playing in churches and shit. It seems to be the only type of place where people will listen to us, though. It's just a tricky situation.

My head feels weird today.
