= = But I am back now ^~^ = =
I shall do my best to keep out any details that would be really boring for anyone who should decide to read this entry . . . short and sweet ; )
- So, we left for Georgia on Thursday, I am not sure how long it actually took us to get there . . . but you can rest assured that it was really long. Probably around 14 hours or so. But at least we were able to stop and sleep for a few hours at a hotel along the way. My dad brought this really cool GPS thing and a laptop from work. I don't know if anyone else has seen this or not, maybe I am just really behind the loop on this one but I thought it was totally awesome. It seemed really high tech, and made getting there a lot easier as well. All you had to do was set your route that you wanted to take, starting and ending . . . and what roads you were planning on taking. And the thing would tell you when you were coming up on a place that you needed to turn and if you got of track it would tell you . . . *goes into robot computer voice* Off route, recalculating route. Take a right on this street, approaching in three minutes . . . 30 seconds after that merge onto this other road. *back to normal voice* I was all like O____o *jaw drops* Definitely was super cool!
- - But anyways, we got to the hotel in Georgia, which was really nice. And then we went out to dinner with everyone that was there for my cousins wedding. Which was really the main reason that we went. But the wedding was the next day, and it was really nice. Everything went smoothly . . . ^^ But I guess it's tradition to play a prank on the groom the night before the wedding, so we ending up taping a "Y" on the front of his car, because there was a liscense plate thing there and we made it say HORNY . . . so he drove off after his wedding with that on his car . . . I wonder if he's found out that it's there yet : P
- - After the wedding we helped clean up and headed over to my cousins house, which was another four hours of driving. But once we got there it was a lot of fun. I got to shoot some guns, play with fireworks, be really freakin' hot cause I was in South Carolina, stuff like that ^~^ . . . Two of my cousins have started a little band thing, one plays drums and the other plays guitar. And I must say that for the short amount of time that they have been playing they are pretty good. I really didn't have much time to draw anything, but one night I just couldn't take it anymore and I just had to draw something, so I found a pic of my cousin who had just gotten married and drew a pic of him. I thought that it had turned out pretty well, so I went to bed. And when I woke up in the morning it was gone and I couldn't find it anywhere. But eventually my uncle came back from wherever he was and he pulled it out of a bag, where he had gotten it framed. So that was a nice surprise that he liked it enough to do that ^^
- - - So then after a few days of fun and good food there ( I swear that people from down south have a secret magical power to make the most awesome sweet tea on earth ) . . . we drove back here again, probably another 16 or so hours * sigh *
And as much fun as it was to be somewhere else, it always feels great to get back home *leans back in his chair*
