Just curious, have you watched the early USPC episodes from the 2006 tournament?

There's a guy who played in it (50s, male, Russian-type accent) that I play with very frequently, who apparently had a bunch of his hands televised. I keep hearing about Queens and wonder what's going on.

Very sharp player, I had the pleasure/challenge of having him on my immediate right this past Saturday, which was the third time in my last three trips that we've been at the same table for the tournament.

Unfortunately, I have not seen any of the 2006 USPC. I don't get Fox Sports Net and I'm too lazy to download the torrents.

ESPN is doing the USPC. They showed a bunch over the weekend, although I did not notice the Russian guy that spidurman mentioned.

The only russian guy I remember from '06 uspc was Vadim Trencher (spelling). Not sure if he's related to Ilya Trincher who is HSP.
