I would almost understand if some morons had actually said they liked the idea, back when they were "discussing" it. But NO ONE LIKED IT. (I quote discussing because apparently they didn't give a shit what anyone thought, and this was apparently just a "BTW, we're gonna do this no matter what you say, but we want people to say they like it." *gnashes teeth*)
I'm disgusted with this font. For starters, I'm not crazy about too-large font (hell, if you want big font, you can change your own browser to show it - the pages themselves don't have to force them on everyone). It's just frustrating and annoying what they've done to this site.
I knew about the ability to change the default page view to your own layout, but I always avoid doing it, because I like seeing the different layouts and everything. But I think I'm going to have to go your choice, and just view everything with my own. I at least know I like mine. >.<
I had a DW for about two or three years, but I ended up deleting it because nothing ever happens over there. But now I wish I hadn't, because at least Dreamwidth keeps things functional, listens to their users, and doesn't force things on people whether they like it or not.
Yeah, I've had a paid account for years and years (I always happen to be broke when permanent accounts become available), and I really don't want to waste all that time and money invested here. But they're just making it so difficult for people to want to stay. v_____v
