I'm becoming one of those meme-posters, aren't I?

Comment and I'll give you three fandoms, for which you must answer these:

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?

transitorial gave me TVXQ, FF8, and FMA.

TVXQ

01: Honestly? Henry from SuperJunior. And also krillia. Skipping the long story, though, it was watching the old XMan episodes with the boys. From there, I went to some of their music videos, and I was lost.

02: I hope so. It's been over a year since I fell so hard for the boys, and I'm still here, so I think at the least it'll be one of the ones I kind of look back fondly on and reread my favorite fics every now and then. Pretty sure I'm here to stay as long as they are, though.

03: Um... We'll go with favorite song, since this question apparently isn't set up for RPF. I will tentatively say Mountain Spring, because I adore that song, and I love their acapella, but my favorite changes with my mood.

04: Sort of. Sometimes. Ish. Working on some epic fic right now, though, and if rp counts as participating, then yes.

05: YES. Although not right now. The whole situation right now just makes my heart hurt too much. But as soon as it's resolved, then yes, I think more people should come to know the awesome that is TVXQ.

FF8

01: Playing the game? I was young and impressionable and didn't know what a 'fandom' was yet, but I loved the game and ZOMG people were writing stories about it? I was SO there! It was one of my very first fandoms. /nostalgia

02: I moved on some time ago. I do still wander back every now and then, although less so once I realized that all those stories I thought were so awesome back in the day are... well... crap, mostly. I still love the games, though. Thinking of doing a speed run one of these days, see if I can't play straight through over a long weekend or something, whee!

03: I don't think this question quite works for this. o.O Um... Well, I love Triple Triad? I could play that literally all day. It's my second favorite FF minigame after Blitzball.

04: No, I never was. I was far too shy for anything like being involved in a fandom back then.

05: It's a good game. I think everyone should play it. The fandom is mostly dead, as far as I know, though, so... *shrugs* Revival, anyone?

FMA

01: My brother and Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. Or, I guess that's what got me into the show. I found fandom by myself. I was kind of surprised how big fandom was, though, since at the time, I really had no idea what anime was (ha, yeah, how far I've come, huh? -_-) so I had no idea that other people would have already gotten into this show when it was new on Adult Swim. It was my gateway drug, though, so it will always hold a special place in my heart.

02: I moved on for a while after a bad experience with some people VERY much into FMA sort of turned me off the series. Lately, I've been sort of rereading the manga and catching up on it, though, so it's possible I could go back. The fandom itself was completely daft, but not always in a scary way.

03: Pretty much anything with Envy, anime or manga. Although Greed's death in the manga is awesome and spectacular. It's so very him.

04: I had a bit of fic and rping, but mostly the fandom was too crazy for me to want to do more than lurk. They always struck me as kind of vicious, especially when people who were friends of mine outside of fandom tended to go really fucking scary if I disagreed with them over FMA. No thank you.

05: Like I said, the fandom is kind of scary. Unless the person was really determined to fit in, I'd say just enjoy the canon and stay out of the fandom.
