So, on Monday, I'll be the new Lead in my department. Seven months to a promotion. Not too shabby, eh? The former Lead and my Assistant Manager as well as my ex-Assistant Manager are all really happy for me and sure I will do a wonderful job in the position. I'm just hoping they're right. Although, now, really, it's more of a 'I HAVE to do well' as opposed to 'I HOPE I do well' like it was before it was official.
The downside? I'll be working 7-4, M-F. If I'm lucky and don't end up having to work 6-3 instead. So all you people I only see late at night? Um... well, yeah. Been nice knowin' ya.
