I HAVE AN IPOD TOUCH. And I'm obsessed with it.
Not one of the newfangled ones that got announced last week. Ste had to get an iPhone for school so he gave me his 3rd gen iPod Touch. He'd only had it a year so it's still in good condition and it was free, which is awesome. I named it Noser (STUMP THE BAND). I love checking Twitter and playing Solitaire and turning it into a remote to mess with my iTunes when I'm laying in bed because I'm lazy and it's fun.
(Ste made me get this app called Words With Friends. It's basically a free Scrabble app. We have way too much fun playing it. I went to visit him at school yesterday and we were playing on our Touch/iPhone at the table at dinner. We're dorks. Anyone else play Words With Friends?)
Mom was going to get a Touch for Christmas but she didn't want a new one so she bought a 3rd gen, too. She named it Wendell. She's so cute: she overthinks everything and gets so excited about the littlest things on it. This should be interesting.
In other news: Syfy moved Sanctuary's premiere date to Friday, October 15th. I'm trying to be positive about it - it's technically not moving timeslots anymore and this gives Syfy more time to promote the new season - but it still grinds my gears. (YES, IT GRINDS MY GEARS, OKAY?) I want this show back sooooo baaaaad. It was already killing me that it was starting a week later than the rest of my shows, and now I have to wait another two weeks? Syfy damn well better start showing commercials: they haven't done a damn thing for Sanctuary yet. I'm tired of watching shows that are screwed by their own networks due to lack of promotion; I've been down that road before and it leads to frustration and heartbreak. Treat Sanctuary right, Syfy. It could be a goldmine for you if you helped it along a bit.
