Not gonna lie, I may have cheered when Ted said he was from the great state of Ohio. And all that stuff he said about squashing pain and ignoring it and then squashing more pain down on top of it? That's how we Ohioans deal with our disappointing professional sports teams. True story.
I actually rather liked tonight's episode. I've been feeling rather 'meh' up to this point. Hooray for flashbacks! Teenage!Lily and Robin Charles Scherbatsky Jr.! (LOL, her dad called her RJ.)
[And then, y'know, Barney and his "that's hot" over Robin's father issues. Yeaaaaaaaaah.]
Good on you, Ted, for being the bigger man. I did love Marshall loving Angry!Ted though.
Big Bang Theory was pretty funny, too. "Battlestar Galactica is on tonight.... but I can just wait for the DVDs.... and then never ever watch them."
P.S. Video from the Dr. Horrible Halloween screening with Zack, Joss, Jed, Maurissa, Nathan, and Felicia. I LOVE it when Joss tries to hand Zack and mic and Zack says "I'm not gonna say anything." Oh Quiet Whedon ♥
