Excuse me while I flail all over the place regarding The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. It was awesome. And amazing. And hilarious. And many, many other incredibly positive adjectives. I loved it sooooooooo much. I got the soundtrack after the show and I'm uploading it to iTunes right now. LAKFJSD;ALKJF;KA;LKJA; Everyone in the cast did an amazing job, but I thought the woman who played Olive and the guys who played William and Leaf were incredibly good. (Excuse me while "The I Love You Song" breaks my heart.) I'm not gonna lie: it's coming to Dayton next year (the same place I saw Spamalot) and I'm so tempted to go see it again.
So yeah, if you have a chance to see this musical, GO. GOGOGO.
