I was "dismissed" by my orthodontist today. Basically, I only ever have to go back if there's a problem with my retainers. No more check-ups or anything like that. I still have to wear the retainers but that's no problem. HUZZAH!
When I got up this morning, I found a 30% off coupon to Borders in my inbox. Woot! Mom and I went to the bookstore but I didn't find anything I couldn't live without. (I know, wtf?) However, I commandeered the latest Vince Flynn [Act of Treason] from Dad (he bought it before I had a chance) and Mom gave me a book she just read - Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris - about vampires, so I still have new books. I didn't want my coupon to go to waste so... I got Angel season 3. Yay for coupons. (Fred kicks ass in 3x03. ♥)
I got Mom to watch "Once More, With Feeling" during lunch. She said it was "cute." :D
Pushing Daisies is pretty much the cutest show ever and if you're not watching it you need to catch up RIGHT NOW because you're totally missing out. I just finished watching it (because I was in the car last night) and it's just so lovely. It makes you want to hug people. Or something.
I just love being home. I can stay in my pajamas and lay on the couch and watch television and snack all day if I want. I suppose I could do that on a Saturday at school, too, but here... it's ten times more fun because there's a good chance Mom or Dad or Ste is sitting on the couch with me.
I need to get a helmet for my Halloween costume. Hmm.
