01. THANK GOD. I got to the office today and... well, first, my boss was on a conference call so I got to read Cannery Row for a half-hour. Then she got off and she gave me Case Yearbook chapters! Yay! Okay, now Case Yearbook isn't necessarily fun to edit but it's editing and I haven't edited since before Christmas. We haven't had any new books to edit since before Christmas Break. They've had me doing membership entry and database work since we got back in January. Oh red pen and Track Changes, how I've missed you! Unfortunately, Mawdsley wrote the first chapter. I wouldn't know any of the authors I edit if I ran over them in the street but I've been looking at their work for almost two years now so I have a sense of their writing styles and such. This Mawdsley guy is such a pain: he's inconsistent with his hyphenation, he really loves the word "insofar," and he has an aversion to articles (a, an, the). I can't tell you how many thes I had to insert today in the twelve pages I managed to read. Anyway: YAY editing!

02. Stephenie Meyer's website makes me super happy. I'm still not done going through all the extras and outtakes. :D
