01. Thinker Toys didn't call back today. However, Cadegan said that Rob would be making calls today and tomorrow so I'm holding out hope. Please send good thoughts/prayers/crossed fingers my way.

03. I actually got some of the words right in the Spelling Bee tonight! Mom and I love to try and spell the words. There were lots of German and French this year, with an abnormal amount of Yiddish. Also, I found it amusing that the girl who came in second place was from Canada. In the National Spelling Bee. Turns out, anyone from an English-speaking country is eligable; doesn't exactly make it a national bee then does it?
04. Maybe I'm really behind in this area of fandom, but Damon and Carlton are theoretically doing the DVD commentary for 2x01 "Man of Science, Man of Faith." I am ridiculously excited for October now: D&C commentary on a Desmond episode. BRING IT ON.
05. Wanna know a great part about summer? The grocery store has double-dip ice cream cones for 75 cents apiece. Mom took Ste and me to get our first cones of the summer today.
