The whole poem I got an A on...
She stood waiting
hoping to hear the news
hoping and waiting
to hear the sad news
She knew what was happening
she was on the brink
she just stood there waiting
she couldn't think
Finally, out he came
his eyes sad and full
he uttered only one word
Cancer
her heart sank
her hands trembled
she tried to look into his eyes, blank
she knew at once he was gone
then he got ill more so than before
violently ill; she couldn't help
she knew there was no magic pill
he closed his eyes; he never woke up
she sobbed for hours
she stayed in bed for days
when she too, closed her eyes
and joined her husband for the rest of her days
Yeah, I wrote that in 5 minutes so it sucks...
Anyway Jess is in the hospital, no one knows how she is..apparently it isn't too good.
