Crappy poem for english
Alright, we had to write a poem like Emily Dickenson would, so I did. I wrote it in 5 minutes and it sucks ass, but my teacher said it was "wonderful" so I'm just going to post it. I only have my rough draft, it's only half of the poem..when she hands back the paper I'll write the whole thing.
She stood waiting-
hoping to hear the news-
hoping and waiting-
for the terrible news
She knew what was happening-
she was on the brink-
she just stood there waiting-
she couldn't think
Finally, out he came-
his eyes sad and full-
he uttered only one word-
cancer.
Her heart sank-
her hands trembled-
she tried to look into his eyes, blank-
she knew all at once he was gone
That's only half of it, and it sucks...and I wrote it in 5 minutes :S...yeah
