Weakened Virus
So I went for vaccinations yesterday morning. I got the second round of Hepatitis A & B, Yellow Fever and Typhoid. This is, of course, for my trip to the Peruvian Amazon this summer with braemblerose. Anyway, after I got the shots, the nurse told me that I might get sick and that I should go to the hospital if my fever got over 101. Yeah, uh, wasn't expecting that for some reason. Luckily it didn't get that bad. I started feeling achy today, but I managed to struggle through some work(and some foosball...and some darts...) and my fever only got up to 99.
The Two Towers was on when I got home and it's still on over three hours later. I had forgotten how long this movie is. And how incredible. Gollum still gives me chills. I especially like "Gollum's Song" on the soundtrack. So dark and sad. So haunting. It really fits the mood at the end of the movie. Not exactly a "make you feel better when you're sick" kind of movie, but I hadn't seen it in a long time so I'm glad I got to watch it. I don't think I'd watched any of them since we watched all three in one day last year.
