"You didn't have to tell everyone," I snapped out angrily at Sarah who rolled her eyes at me in return. Living with teenagers was seriously becoming a pain in the ass. I headed down the stairs with her right on my heels.
"Well you didn't have to sneak out of her room all sneaky like. And!" She punctuated the and with a poke to my back. "And you told everyone about Cordelia and Kennedy so how was I supposed to know you're a big hypocrite when it comes to public announcements on who is sleeping with who."
"I am not a hypocrite." Okay maybe I was a little. Besides this wasn't about me. I didn't care if people know I was sleeping with Fred. It was the fact that Fred got dragged into the public with it that upset me. "Fred's business should be kept private."
"I didn't mean to tell everyone. How was I supposed to know it was a secret anyway?"
"The fact I was sneaking out all sneaky like may have tipped you off?" I shot back as she poked me in the back again. I turned around to face her once we were in the lobby. "Stop poking me."
"Stop lecturing me like you're the boss of me. You are not the boss of me. Angel is." Her hands were on her hips as she gave me a defiant look.
Teenagers.
"Oh wow it's snowing. I didn't do this." She said immediately. I turned to look at the windows and sure enough it was snowing. "I didn't. I wasn't thinking about snow at all."
"I believe you. Go find Fred and we'll see if we can figure this out." I walked over to the window to get a better look as Sarah screamed out,
"FRED. IT'S SNOWING. CONNOR WANTS YOU TO COME SEE."
"I could have yelled." I said in an exasperated tone.
"Then why didn't you?"
Teenagers.
