What happens when Spike realizes he is The Guy and falls for her big time? Buffy's already found a man -- a guy that Spike set her up with! Much Spuffiness ensues.

The Great Advantage of Being Alive ~PG-13 Long, long story. Set in S4 of BtVS. What if the Initiative changed Spike into a human, rather than giving him a chip? Let's just say the transition isn't all that easy on him, or anyone else for that matter. Will he finally discover the great advantage of being alive?
Avocation ~PG-13 The gypsies cursed the wrong vampire, and by the time they rectify their mistake, Spike has been fundamentally altered. Now, the Slayer needs help stopping the apocalypse, and there's only one man for the job. Of course, he's not real interested in taking it. Begins around Becoming, Part 2
& sequel: Under the Sun ~PG-13 Buffy's off to college, Spike and Wesley are working together, and Giles and Joyce's relationship is progressing nicely. Unfortunately, change is on its way, and it's anyone's guess as to who will be left standing when it's all said and done.

Since she doesn't have enough money to rent one all by herself she has to put up with a roommate. Guess who? No, not Spike but the over-cheerful, bubble-gum, pop-princess - Harmony! She's sloppy, she's loud and basically the 'Roommate from Hell'. Just when Buffy thought things couldn't get worse, she brings home her boyfriend - Spike! And guess what? They're LOUD!

When the two sides eventually come together to discuss a truce it falls on Buffy to help guard a group of diplomats. Spike is also witness to the negotiations as a warrior on the Aurelian side. A twist in the fragile peace treaty throws the two soldiers together in a way that neither of them is prepared for.
(The peace treaty is cemented symbolically by the joining in marriage of the two youngest soldiers present, thereby throwing Buffy and Spike into a relationship that they really, really, don’t want. Although not a traditional Vampire versus Slayer scenario, it is close enough to be familiar.)
