Cordelia glanced at Zod over her shoulder as she added chocolate sauce to the coffee and ice for the frapuccino she was making him, as she'd promised. She smiled as she found him watching her and then went back to what she was doing.

"Do you still want to try and figure out that Blackberry?" she asked, offering him a smile.

He remains still, just holding onto her for several seconds. Finally, he shifts his head to lightly press his lips to the corner of her mouth. "I'm really glad I suggested that meeting in Utah," he says softly, smiling at her.

"Yeah, I am, too." She turned her head and kissed him softly, lifting a hand to his face.

He returns the kiss without hesitation, slowly lifting one of his own hands to touch hers. After a moment, he drops his hands to her waist again, pulling her a little closer and kissing her a bit more deeply.

She leans into his touch, opening her eyes to look at him once more. "So, out of curiosity, how long do you think it'll be before all of your business is tied up?"

He gives her a sad smile, still stroking her face idly with his fingers. "Honestly, I'm not sure. It could be a while," he admits softly. "There's still a lot to do before things can start to settle." He pauses for a moment, considering. "At the moment, business is fairly slow. But I'm afraid it will eventually get worse before it can get better."

She sighs very softly. "I thought you were going to say something like that," she admits, offering him a sad smile in return. "It's okay, though. It'll be worth it." She smiles a bit more.

He sighs as well, nodding slightly at her words. "But you can still see me whenever you want to and are able," he says sincerely, offering her another smile. "As I've told you before, you'll always be welcome. And I'll make time for you."

His smile widens, and he kisses her again quickly. "What about your business?" he asks quietly. "Something tells me your enemies aren't going to simply vanish anytime soon."

"No, they're not," she admits. "But maybe by the time yours is finished, mine will be too."
