Rikku is pretty much my dream girl. She's adorable, hyper, and always up for just about anything. Oh the adventures we could have...
Cid (FF7) was a delightful asshole. It was the first time I've seen such a jerk in a game and all these years later he hasn't been topped.
Aerith is, obviously, the perfect woman. She gets 1 shitty hand after another for her whole life but stays smiling and selfless through it all.
Balthier is everything good about Han Solo, mixed with a British sarcasm that makes everything he says better. He's so British that you can pull him into a different game entirely and he's just like "Oh, bollocks."
Quistis is too kool for school. She has the perfect amount of niceness and selflessness, but she wields a whip so you know she doesn't need you taking care of her.
Bottom 5 FF characters:
Rinoa sucks and I hate her. Not only does her attitude and story get on my nerves, she turns a perfectly good jerk (Squall) into an emo nobody.
Hope is the worst character to grace a FF game...probably ever. "Wah, in this huge military purging of like a million people my mom died and you didn't save her! I'll hate you specifically forever now!"
Zell is like...the annoying jock that always makes crude jokes and is probably at least somewhat retarded. And his face tats make it impossible to even take him seriously when you need to.
Umaro. Really, Square? A character that can't take orders or be equipped and will only attack? Wow.
Bartz is the most forgettable main character of all time, so much so that I'm sure most of you are thinking "Who?". It's pretty hard to care about a story when there isn't a character to identify with or care about, Square!
