of work ethics and double edged swords...

My karting contract has expired. But both Dad and I feel that the current situation is not helping me going any better or further. The chief mechanic does not seem to be interested in my progress - last week was the second time I had a broken clutch in a span of one month, and according to another team's mechanic, there was something wrong with the timing setup. I have no idea what it is, but from what I can gather it is NOT a driving error that caused it. Phew for me, not good for them.

So, I have to start looking for a new mechanic. I think. Dad and I both feel it's starting to lose its worth anymore sticking with the people who are not concerned about whether or not I am making any progress.

I got a feeling that actually Yadi knows what to do, but he doesn't have the drive to get his driver to progress. Hence his lack of actions. Dad has a feeling that Yadi's just not that good of a mechanic, period. Well, I can't blame him.

Which means there will be no practice this week, I guess. We have no practice contract signed, and we're looking for other options. Which means I have to move. Fast.

I am keen to contact Gembloh, a mechanic that used to mech for Alexandra, the current top female racer. But I don't have his number. I probably would have to ask Didin...

I was planning on coming to circuit anyways on Sunday, to chat up people and ask around, like what kind of equipments do I need if I want to start my own team...

On another note, Degol stood me up again. It's the third time this month and second time this week that he cancelled meeting me WITHOUT ANY NEWS.

I think he's making a hobby out of making me pissed off..
