Save Doctor Who Confidential!
If you didn't already know, the BBC is axing Doctor Who Confidential.
This is a SIN.

...Despite the truly awful last episode of Confidential (to go with a truly awful ep of its parent show)... really didn't plead their case did they?
But there is still good there! The whole premise of the show and a lot of what they do is good. They just waste a lot of their resources which is a shame.
I wrote this complaint to the BBC a few days ago when I first heard about them cutting Conf and my friend Amber said "you make so many great points and you do it in a reasonable and heartfelt way".... in case you needed some sort of testimonial before committing to reading this.

I got a generic e-mail response which said they "understand [I'm] unhappy the series is coming to an end" but they have to make tough decisions. Though it said "We’d like to assure you the feedback we’ve received has been included on our audience log. This is an internal report of audience feedback which we compile daily and is available for viewing by all our staff. This includes all programme makers and commissioning executives, along with our senior management. It ensures that the issues our audience raise with us are circulated and considered across the BBC." so hopefully someone'll see it and POSSIBLY reconsider! And surely if they've got nearly 30,000 people wanting it on they have to at least think about it! And it really can't be hard to make just a short Conf like I said.
I've been posting everything on Facebook lately but it's so much neater to do it here - plus most of my Facebook friends don't even care about Doctor Who, let alone Conf so now I've sort of initiated my return onto LJ I thought I'd post this here.
I've missed LJ and everyone on here.

Ha! Just posted and read through what I wrote. Apologies for the epic awfulness of it all! I genuinely have missed everyone and posting on here.. I'm sure with this level of skill in writing the feeling is absolutely mutual!
