New Tricks, Doctor Who, X Factor and - side note - my being fab at school
Firstly, Dad's back. He goes away a lot for work so he was gone for something like 3 weeks.
But he's back now and it's nice. Nice atmosphere.
I would be more enthusiastic but we've all been tired from school and work so basically the only thing we've done together is watch TV.
As well as The X Factor etc. (which I'll come onto later - don't you worry ho ho!) we get to watch things that we have to wait for him to come home to watch.
I can't actually remember what we've been saving now but we've seen 2 episodes of 'New Tricks' so far and it's adorable as ever and Amanda Redman is a MILF if ever I saw one.
It's all right, it's okay. Doesn't really matter if you're old and gre-ey!

In other news, Mum ordered the Doctor Who Series 5 boxset!!
She said I could have it as an early Christmas/birthday present as I've been so good with school and everything (I managed to go in today even after having 4 days off, still feeling ill.. I had an upset stomach and.. bleh. Just been having a really bad time. But I made it in and I've continued to do good! My Media teacher said my research blog is really good so I'm really relieved about that! Not got much more to do before I start planning my music video! Anyway... end of sly bracket story and back to Who DVDs...) although as it comes out on November 7th it's not really that early..
But still!
SO EXCITED!!

Ho ho oh Mother! So vulgar!

Who could deny that face?
Something I definitely could deny? The horrible - truly horrible - new haircuts of 'One Direction':
They were so good-looking! WHYYYYYYYY
Something I thought no-one could deny? Konnie Huq being absotively fantabulistic (though maybe not in those exact words).
However when I was searching for a photo of her for this post I found out that people were complaining she was "boring", demanding Holly Willoughby come back! What the what?! Holly was boring! I don't wish to be unkind but I could barely make it through an episode with her! Konnie is brilliant! The only thing Holly brought to the show was her ~curves~ and sort of... innocent bubbly kind of personality. And that's good for This Morning etc. but for The Xtra Factor you need someone who's fun and joins in and that's what Konnie does.
I also need to add this adorableness. Because it is too adorable.
