Eh, nothing good on TV tonight. (btvs 7:13)

At this moment I am watching Celebrity Duets (and I totally blame savoytruffle for introducing me to this guilty pleasure *g* - Lucy Lawless aka Xena, Carlton from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air - hee), so it seems like a good time to give you all a heads up about which shows I'm planning to loyally watch this season. I believe you'll see that I've found plenty ( Read more... )

Carlton! :D

Thank you so much for posting that video! I was looking for it the other night after reading your recaps and I guess it hadn't been put up yet.

Wow, I don't know how you find the time to watch all that TV. :) The only ones I know I'll be watching every week are Bones and Veronica Mars. I occasionally watch House, My Name is Earl and The Office, and I think I'll probably check out Studio 60 and Heroes.

Yay for remembering Carlton! I'm glad that you'd been wanting to see the video. I'd also been looking for it off-and-on the last couple of days and only found it last night.

hee, well I'm not sure how I watch all that TV either - and often I can't keep up with it. Normally I drop a couple of shows as the season progresses. I'm glad to hear you'll be checking out those new shows too, we'll have to discuss our reactions when they air! *g*

hee! That's always the hardest part! One of the main reasons I made and posted the list was so I wouldn't miss the premiere dates. *g*

I'd been hoping someone would post the opening of the Emmy's -- that's usually the only part I want to see. Thanks!

Ah yes, BSG -- only we don't get the network (curses)so nothing for us Friday nights :(

Oh thanks for posting that intro! Hurley! Great joke about them not being nominated (though I really don't find it that much of an omission when you consider all the other deserving shows not nominated either).

Have you seen the Joss/Morena acceptance speech for the Hugo?

Oh, that's so sad about BSG! It was airing here months after it aired on SciFi in the States, so I was *cough*downloading it*cough*. It was just confirmed that our scifi network here will be airing it the day after it airs on SciFi which makes me happy!

Yay - I'm glad you enjoyed the intro! I was excited about Hurley too! And I definitely agree with you that I don't find Lost not getting nominated an omission (especially since I wasn't that happy with the 2nd season). If only Veronica Mars would get nominated, but I suspect it never will just because of its network.

Oh! I haven't seen that yet, I must check it out!

I am soooooooo excited about the Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars combo!!
Heeee! They have posters all over LA advertising the CW with the catchphrase "free to be ..." (sadly I can only remember "Free to be Fierce" which was for America's Next Top Model ::sigh::) but it looks exciting all the possibilities for the new shows :) Yay! :)
I think many people will love you for not having to buy a TV Guide now ;D

How awesome that you got to see the CW posters in LA!! "Free to be Fierce" is so very appropriate for America's Next Top Model. I'm not sure what the VM & GG "free" one is, I'm just excited about them sharing a night!

I would love to be people's TV resource instead of TV Guide! *g*

Happy Birthday, lady!

:)

And can I just take this completely random opportunity to remark that I've always been quite impressed with your post headers. You've so dedicated. Plus, there is something quite "information science" about it, and I can appreciate that. :P

Thanks so much for the birthday wishes!!! *hugs* I'm already having a great birthday!

hee! Yay for being impressed by the post headers! I love that you appreciate the "information science" aspect of it! A good chunk of the quotes that I use are ones that I love and/or remember, and know will work well for the topic of the post. I will occasionally look through random quotes until I find something appropriate. *g*
