How long had we been standing there?
It felt like hours. It could have been. I don't know; I forgot to put my watch on this morning. Well, that's what I would say if I owned a watch.
Angel really needs to get up to date with the digital age. Maybe we can even get some satellite television in here. He owes us that after everything he's put us through.
Speaking of what he puts us through, Cop Lady was still standing there with an axe. Negative. And no one was doing anything, of course. Angel probably should be attacking her right now. If I get another black eye... well, I'll do something. Something to make Angel regret being mean to me yesterday and then bringing another crazy lady to the hotel. We've had like 3 in the past few days. 4 if you count Fred that he just brought in, but I like her and she's mostly just crazy for tacos. It's really starting to get insane, not to be playing on words or whatever.
Maybe I'll replace his sugar with salt.
As I was trying to think of a way to get away from crazy Cop Lady, find a weapon, get Angel back for doing so many stupid things and figure out how much I could afford to spend at Macy's shoe sale tomorrow, Lorne came in.
"Someone mind telling me what the hell is going on here? Who's our Lizzie Borden?"
It looked like no one was going to answer him. I guess I have to do everything around here. "Cop Lady," I said, while starting to inch towards the weapons cabinet. She probably only wanted to kill Angel. Everyone does. But I'd still like to be armed if I can't get the whole running like hell thing to work for me.
It seemed like everyone was here. Like a party. A party with weapons.
Those are the only kinds of parties I ever get invited to anymore. My life sucks.
