I swear to God, I still have a migraine.

That vision nearly knocked me out. I could still see it, vampires, werewolves... and not just one, not just Oz... he was the only werewolf I knew of, but a whole pack of them, and death and mayhem and all that other apocalyptic stuff that comes with a big mouth of Hell.

We had arrived in Sunnydale a few days ago. I don't really think Angel or I were really that excited about coming back... I mean, here it is, land of the exes and horrible memories past, but whatever. I'm totally over all of that. Yep, completely over my glory days. Who needs popularity, coolness, and horrible demon massacres when you can help your vampire boss massacre demons? And okay obviously my life hasn't changed other than the popular part. So hopefully no one that I used to consider important is still living here.

When I left, I really thought I'd miss this place... sort of, but I was way wrong. Which is just horrifying to admit, and I'll never ever say it aloud. I'd so rather be in L.A. schmoozing it up with the stars who don't know that I even exist any day, rather than being back here. But the PTBs obviously send their brain-crackers for a reason, so I can't really argue. I did sign up for it, right?

Us being here though, it's just so complicated. I mean, neither of us can exactly go up to Buffy's doorstep, explain the last year to her, and say "Hey, I had a vision that there's tons of death coming, and we just thought we'd stop on by to watch." But I saw something on the news this morning about bodies being found completely mangled all over town... and there's all of the stuff that's going to come. I can feel it, and it's not going to be pretty. So I guess we have to help.

Angel had pretty much reclaimed his mansion... I mean, who's going to take it? It's all historical and whatever. I've been staying in a room upstairs, and hey, he owes me, I let him stay with me for a couple of months when his office and apartment blew up, but I'm not really that much of a mooch. I figure there's got to be some sort of a job I can get around here... and not Starbucks! Or a clothing store.. ever again. That was torture. And something I'd like to forget, so I'll stop talking about it.
But for now, I've been cooped up in our new 'residence' for way too long, and I figure I'll hit that old hot spot. Which is the Bronze, because other than an abundance of vampires, Sunnydale has nothing else. I asked Angel if he wanted to go... but I don't know if he will. I think he's nervous that Buffy will be there... and if she is, I'll have some 'splaining to do. Ugh. Can't I have some fun, meet some studly college boys (who don't worship giant lizards) without someone trying to ruin it for me?

Hopefully tonight might be eventful...
Or maybe now that we're back on the hellmouth, I should just be hoping that I don't get killed.
