Light at the end of the tunnel

I am starting to see a very distant and small bit of light at the end of the tunnel that is this school year. I now have my summer figured out, I am going to be working part time for the National Lesbian and Gay Law Association and part time continuing my research at school. The good news is that the research position is paid. Unfortunately the other is not, but it will be good experience and they have offered to fly me out to San Francisco to help out with their annual job fair, which would be so amazing particularly as I want to eventually move there.

The only bad news is that I still have 4 weeks of classes and then two weeks of finals left before then. I have a massive amount of work I need to do on a paper for one class and the other class is evidence which is evil and horrible. So that's kinda a drag. The unfortunate thing is that this semester has been really rough both on Mike and I, so as much as we are trying to help the other out it just isn't as easy this time as before. The good news is that I think he is going to take the summer off from classes as well so we will both have more time to relax and enjoy each other and the city again. Then again there is that whole pesky wedding thing coming up that is very needy. Always requiring decisions and thought.

I'm also excited because my birthday is coming up! 2 weeks tomorrow I will finally be turning 25. It's silly but this last year has had so much in it I feel like I should be turning at least 26. I had two people in the last week think I was much older. One guy thought I was his age and he was 32!

Ok well I'm off to try and get some reading for my paper done before going to bed. You should ask me about it next time I see you, it's on an interesting topic.
