Glamourshoot updates
Reminder: There's a KW Glamourshoot this coming Monday, 12:30 to 3:30pm.
I haven't been able to nail down a guaranteed indoor location, sadly. (It's sad, because zagatto offered us the use of his studio lights if we were indoors.) On the plus side, the weather on Monday is promising to be just as fantastic as last weekend, so an outdoor shoot should be great. I'm thinking of the area in and around the Krug warehouse and train station -- is that picturesquely run down enough for everyone? ;) Assuming no objections, let's meet out front of the Via train station between noon and noon-thirty. I'll try to scout some other locations in the same area, so that we can wander around a bit and get some different backdrops. Since we'll be moving about, [a] bring a pair of comfortable shoes, and [b] call me if you get there late and can't find us right away. :)
A note re: the Toronto glamourshoot (Oct 21st, 2:30 - 5:30pm)...
While I was in Toronto yesterday I scouted some sites for yon glamourshoot. In the hopes of intersecting the Zombie Walk at some point during the shoot, I'm declaring the alleys along Queen St W as our venue. There are some fantastic possibilities there, ranging from gritty, to pretty, to amusing (there are some fun signs :). And I am soooooo organized that for this one I have a map.
Let's meet outside the Second Cup at 652 Queen St. W [A]. From there we'll head to the alley just south of Queen [B], which is full of graffiti and interesting garages and the odd fire escape or two -- all practically begging for pretty people and photos. Hopefully someone will volunteer to keep an eye on Queen St for zombies, so we can arrange mayhem when they pass. Afterwards we can hit the alley on the east side of Bathurst [C] if people are interested, then head up to the alley just north of Queen, between Bathurst and Spadina [D]. There's a cool mural at Cameron House (Queen and Cameron, [E]) that has some possibilities if we make it that far.
Dunno what the weather will be like, but if it rains just bring an umbrella -- there'll still be fun. :)
