Hmm, so I start rating these movies based on whether or not they have subtitles.. If it so frustrating to watch a movie when there is no subtitles.. I love subtitles.

Alien3
Now, everybody who likes the Alien series hates this movie.. which confuses me to no end. It is a very good movie. Sure it kills off 3/4ths of the established characters from the 2nd movie.. which is ridiculous.. But it makes sense for the plot...She crash lands on a prison colony with only 23 or so murderers, rapists and "villains" who have found god and sworn a vow of celibacy, she makes them test their convictions.. but of course... an egg has mysteriously snuck on board... many theories suround this.. including bishop "company droid" getting it while Ripley was chasing Newt in the nest in the second movie.. or while the queen was latched onto the Sulaco she somehow laid an egg.. Anyways the acting on this is amazing.
Gore: 7, only a tad more than the previous
Plot: 7, still an alien movie.. an evolution of the story
Acting: 10, truely well done.
Scaryness: 7 dissorientating and kinda awkward but could be scary
Special Effects: 5 alien was not all that convincing but upon watching the special features I have some more respect for it.

Alien ressurection - sigh... technically should not have been done.. but at the same time not absolutely terrible.. Allowed for a showcase in the evolution of technology

Plot: 5, same old same
Acting: 6, Ron Perlman? Wynona Ryder? Sigourney Weaver? Guy from CSI, Guy from ER.. sure
Scaryness: 5, more like a action packed ride
Special Effects: 9 very well done

Wes Craven's the Chiller - Audio was terrible, Movie was stupid.. lets keep it short. This guy was going to die, so they freeze him.. the freezers fail so they try to revive him, he dies.. they bring him back to life, without a soul!!!! He is mean... he gets killed by a cop.. nothing cool..
