Summary: Fear not enemies but friends.
(
Summer - Part 1 )
That first part was really short (or maybe I'm not used to reading part after part instead of full seasons anymore...), but in no way was it less intense than the previous... I did think it was very reckless of Murata to threaten Akira in his own lair and in front of his men, but I simply thought he was underestimating him. I had never guessed it had such a deep meaning...
And the mere fact that he went so far to hide the true meaning of his words proves that he's familiar with backstabbing, and figured that Akira isn't. And now that he's been warned, Akira is learning to suspect his own friends in this world, who are the most direct threats... Which automatically leads to Ichikawa.
*shudder* The future certainly doesn't look bright. Oh, by the way, wasn't this part supposed to take place in Korea? Did you decide to change your own plot? Well then, if it's that unpredictable even for you, there's plenty of reasons for us to fear the outcome. XD Not even you can predict it, it would seem.
I think that at this point, Akira's lack of experience as a direct killer somehow makes him stuck into the underground world. He's gone pretty far already, but not far enough yet to be considered like a proper yakuza, and others are seeking weaknesses. So if he was to quit, no one would consider it risky to end him without his men to watch his back. Yet if he stays, circumstances will make it harder and harder for him to avoid commiting an actual murder... (Especially if Hikaru, after having been sighted, gets involved.)
Since this season is going to be about two different cities, looks like we're back to parallel situations... If it's the last, a happy ending isn't likely. Then again, a season named "Fall" isn't exactly a good sign either. XD But at least the characters could be reunited... Anyways, as far as Hikaru is concerned, distance is good for an introspection, which he's likely to need after what happened the last time he faced Akira.
Now the whole story has become unpredictable to me... Which makes me all the more eager to see what happens next! Good luck with upcoming chapters, no matter how much time it takes you to write them!
