_riverside Was re-eading Ellen Kushner's mannerpunk Swordspoint last night (wonderful book that ages well), and took to wondering how the characters in the book look. I like the old hardback cover of the windblown swordsman - who I'd always taken to be St Vier - but on rereading the book, I came to feel that Richard St Vier has a much more sensuous face than the cover illustration allows. So I've tried my hand at drawing him the way I think he is. Style is inspired by the Pre-Raphaelites, specifically Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
