Vacation Missive

I am in England, having a lovely time with my beautiful and talented bezzie mates Charlotte and Susie. They shower me with love and affection, and I only partially return their love because I am Canadian and reticent.

I have seen castles and old things, they speak to my soul.

Oh Hannah, how exciting! You haven't been by any chance to Warwick castle? It was my favourite.

I miss you though because I need someone to help me settle crucial book related decisions. For example, Philip Pullman has written two companion type books that take place in Lyra's world. I don't know what to think about this! Let alone, know whether I should buy them or not.

Also, a short trip to Victoria might be in the works for June 29-July 1. I know this isn't the best time for you to think about it but maybe let it lurk in the back of your mind in case you feel like joining us.

I just missed Warwick castle :-( I did see a castle in Norwich though!

I actually have one of the companion books-- okay, but basically a dressed-up short story. You can borrow it if you like.

I don't think I can come to Victoria, sadly-- I've used up all my free time/money for vacationing and really ought to be figuring out about jobs. I hope you have a great time though!

Sorry I didn't reply earlier-- didn't have much internet access. Charlotte and Susie did me the favour of secretly updating my lj (though the sentiments are all mine) :-)
